NZD/USD on retreat again

Kiwi tries to settle above 0.8100

NZD/USD is going to finish this volatile week mostly unchanged, in the middle of 0.8100-0.8200 range after failed attempts to breakaway both ways. From the technical point of view, a weekly close well above 0.8100 might signal that kiwi bears are exhausted and some period of rangebound trading is on cards. Longer-term horizon of the pair is still clouded as USD upside trend is gaining traction across the board. As macroeconomic calendar is rather light today, watch out for week end position adjustment and speculative sentiments, related to Scottish referendum results.
