China FX reserves rose unexpectedly in Feb, back above $ 3 trln

The Chinese central bank (PBOC) came out with its latest monthly data on the country’s forex reserves, showing an unexpected rise last month.

China forex reserves regained $ 3 trillion (trln) mark, coming in at $3.005 trln in February versus January’s $2.998 trl and $2.973 trln expectations.
